SUPERVISOR

SALARY: 1800 € per month net + health insurance + accomodation + 2 flight tickets (flying and back)
The SUPERVISOR is in charge of a coordinating the work of a subcontractor within the shipyard. He must coordinate and ensure superintendants that all works inside his area are performed as scheduled and according to health and safety procedures.
The supervisor is supported by a general coordinator of works in charge to define priorities for the whole of areas, a safety agent in charge to define or clarify health and safety procedure and superintendant in charge of the general schedule.
Works on board performed by sub-contractors are technically managed by Work managers, surveyors and preparators. The supervisor can be supported by us for any technical requests.
The works need safety procedure before starting removal equipment :
lock out (electrical, mechanical or fluid)
confined space protocol
asbestos protocol
hot works protocol
H2S
…
The supervisor must ensure himself that : workers filled “permit to work” necessary to their jobs and perform the job according to safety protocol defined by the safety agent.
The supervisor must ensure himself that workers filled “Logisitic requests” necessary to their jobs within the time limit :
Lifting
Rigging
Scaffoldings
Ventilation, light, power supply
He must coordinate logistic activities inside his area according to the scheduled allowed by the coordinator.
The NAVY has to carry out all over the ship works on several facilities. Supervisors are not in charge to follow their jobs, but must take into account it within his diary preparation of subcontractor’s jobs.
